Privacy Policy - scripts, voice and analytics

Your script

Your script is stored by your own browser, on your own device. It is not uploaded to us, not synced between your devices, and not attached to any account. The teleprompter never asks you to sign in, and using it does not create an account.

Clearing your browser's data for this site removes your scripts. We cannot recover them, because we never had them.

Voice follow

Voice follow is off unless you turn it on, and turning it on is the only thing that asks for your microphone.

Where your browser can recognise speech on the device, it does, and the audio does not leave your device. Where it cannot — Safari and iOS have no on-device path — your browser sends the audio to its vendor for transcription, and that vendor's privacy policy governs what happens to it. The switch says which of the two applies in your browser before you turn it on.

We do not receive, store, or forward your audio in either case.

Analytics

If analytics is enabled for this site, it records aggregate usage — which pages are opened, and whether the teleprompter was actually started. It does not receive your script.
